I was told I was in the annexe. I complained tired and loudly. I found the established de-core charming,brass everything. PS im not related to the owner. Stayed at bergers Sporthotel over the new year,this is our second visit to this hotel but our fourth to saalbach.
We love saalbach and will defiantly go back again and would look at booking the Berger Sporthotel ,the food is lovely the staff are very friendly and all recognised us from the previous year.
The owners go out of there way to make sure you are happy with the service you recieve during your stay and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Like some other contributors, I was a bit worried about some previous negative reviews but the hotel was perfectly adequate for a ski holiday after all, your not buying it are you! With a great sauna, steam room and spa facilities, I was hardly in the room anyway!
Frau Berger made us feel very welcome and made the effort to visit all the guests tables at evening meal times. The feisty Tania ran the prosecco bar downstairs and was good fun. As far as the skiiing is concerned, simple signage made it fairly easy to navigate between the interconnecting resorts, most of the lifts and gondolas are new and modern some with heated seats. When we arrived there was little snow but most of the runs were usable due to the huge network of snow making machines.
